The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the notification for the recruitment of Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for 2025. Candidates interested in a career in the security forces can apply online from 5th September 2024 until 14th October 2024.
Key Details:
Total Vacancies: Over 39,000 posts for both male and female candidates across multiple categories and states.
Positions Available: Constable (General Duty) in BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in NCB.
Salary: The pay scale ranges from ₹21,700/- to ₹69,100/- for CAPF posts and ₹18,000/- to ₹56,900/- for Sepoy in NCB.
Age Limit: 18 to 23 years as of 01-01-2025, with age relaxations as per government rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 10th class from a recognized board by 1st January 2025.
Selection Process:
Computer-Based Examination (CBE): An objective-type test with sections on General Intelligence, General Knowledge, Elementary Mathematics, and English/Hindi.
Physical Standard Test (PST)/Physical Efficiency Test (PET): To test physical fitness.
Medical Examination: To assess the candidate’s medical fitness.
Document Verification: Verification of eligibility and relevant certificates.
Application Fee:
₹100/- for general candidates.
Exemptions: Female candidates, SC/ST, and ex-servicemen are exempt from paying the fee.
